The Posada del Arquitecto is an idea that was born in the 90´s when Mazunte was a rural and isolated beach. We needed to create habitable spaces for friends that roamed through. And so they were created - little by little and almost spontaneously - rustic bungalows dotted into the hillside, nestling into the vegetation, built imaginatively of local materials.
Over the years the Posada has been converted into the posada of today: less "wild" and more comfortable. However, it conserves the relaxed spirit of old - an open house for friends passing through on their travels.
Today´s Posada del Arquitecto offers guests a tranquil space, shared with nature and her creatures. Plus, close by you will find everything you need: café with beach terrace, impressive views of the bay from the cabañas, tavern, yoga classes, massage, sun-terrace. organized tours, wireless Internet - all within a few steps of the Rinconcito beach in Mazunte.
